Ergonomic Material Handling Fabrication (Custom and Standard)

In addition to the full range of ergonomic material handling equipment already offered by our sister company R&D Ergo, Liftsafe Engineering takes a collaborative approach to solving more complex material handling problems that increase productivity and capacity while reducing the risk of employee injuries.

Customized workspace solutions such as ergonomic cranes, lifting devices and tables, end of arm tooling for below the hook devices, pick and place systems (end effectors), vacuum handlers, workstation audits and zero gravity systems (balancers and lifters) are available through our custom fabrication engineering team.

Engineering Controls

The goal of engineering controls is to improve the fit between the demands of work tasks and the capabilities of your workers in a safe way.

Administrative controls

Administrative improvements, such as job rotation or alternating, can help reduce workers’ exposures to risk factors by limiting the amount of time workers spend on “problem jobs”.

Training

Training alone is not an ergonomic improvement. Instead, it should be used together with any workplace changes made. Workers need training and hands-on practice with new tools, equipment, or work practices to make sure they have the skills necessary to work safely.
