LESG designed, manufactured, and installed 13 under-running, single-girder bridge cranes with a 27’-0” span. The cranes featured GH underrunning end trucks and Kito electric chain hoists.

Located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), our client is an industry-leading engineer and manufacturer of fabricated steel components and assemblies. They recently expanded their manufacturing capacity in Ontario to accommodate projects from their USA facilities. This required the setup of new manufacturing lines that included overhead cranes for material handling.
The expansion posed challenges due to the client’s high demand manufacturing cycles, which required reliable and robust cranes. To meet these demands, Liftsafe Engineering, a trusted partner in crane solutions, designed, manufactured, and installed 13 under-running, single-girder bridge cranes with a 27’-0” span. Each crane featured heavy-duty GH underrunning end trucks and Kito electric chain hoists, along with six bays of runways and conductor bar power feeds.
