Do you, or your employees use an engineered fall protection system?

Did you know that the Provincial and Federal governments both require these systems to be inspected annually by a competent person?

MINISTRY OF LABOUR ONTARIO:

O.Reg. 145/00 Section 26
6.4(3) “The travel restraint system shall be inspected by a competent worker before each use.”
26.5(2) “The fall restricting systems shall be inspected by a competent worker before each use.”
26.6(6) “The fall arrest system shall be inspected by a competent worker before each use.”

Part II Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations

Part XII Section 12.3:

“All protection equiment provided by the employers shall be maintained, inspected and tested by a qualified person. ”
