Heavy Duty Freestanding Jib Cranes
FREESTANDING JIB CRANES - BASEPLATE MOUNTED
The 100 Series Freestanding Jib Cranes are engineered for base-plate mounting and feature a simple, reliable installation process. The base plate anchors to a reinforced concrete foundation using six or twelve bolts—depending on mast diameter—with six equally spaced gussets providing added structural strength. These cranes are also fully relocatable, allowing the mast and base plate to be removed together, leaving only the footer and anchor bolts behind for maximum flexibility.

Gorbel I Beam Free Standing Jib Crane
The Gorbel Free Standing I-Beam Jib Crane offers exceptional versatility with three mounting styles: base plate, insert (permanent), and sleeve (removable). Its boxed-style head streamlines installation and reduces deflection with the support of triangular gussets, while the enclosed bottom-entry collector assembly provides flexible power options for full 360° rotation. Additional safety features, including a heavy-duty head-retaining pin, ensure reliable performance. Ideal for heavy-duty material handling, this jib crane integrates seamlessly beneath large bridge cranes, delivering the efficiency and adaptability Gorbel is known for.

Sleeve Insert Mounted ARTICULATING JIB CRANES
The 102 Series Freestanding Jib Cranes, designed with sleeve-insert mounting, provide the key advantage of easy relocation without causing damage to the mast. Their gusset-free, spacious configuration keeps the area around the mast completely unobstructed, enhancing accessibility and convenience. The sleeve—welded to a square steel plate—is positioned and plumbed by anchoring it to the first-pour concrete footing, while the second pour secures it in place. During installation, the mast is inserted into the sleeve, leveled with wedges, and welded for long-term stability, creating a reliable foundation for these highly versatile freestanding jib cranes.
Capacity: from 150 to 2,000 lbs.
