SOLUTION
Our team installed davit bases on six mezzanine-mounted machines and supplied a removable davit arm to give millwrights a secure tie-off point while repairing overhead equipment. We also added a full handrail system around the mezzanine’s interior perimeter, eliminating the need for tie-off while working on the platform and significantly improving overall safety and compliance.
For this Liftsafe project, the client needed approved fall arrest points on their mezzanine to ensure millwrights could safely service overhead equipment.
We installed custom davit tie-off points and a full mezzanine handrail system to enhance worker safety and ensure total compliance during overhead maintenance.
