Many applications require equipment to be load tested prior to being placed into service, or upon completion of repairs. Repaired hoists and pullers are load tested to 125% of their rated capacity to ensure a high level of safety. Liftsafe Engineering and Service Group Inc. offers a range of on-site and in-shop, non-destructive load testing services. Load test certificates are available as proof of tests.
Onsite Load Testing
- Liftsafe uses a custom, portable, five-ton load tester to load test chain falls and pullers.
- This allows Liftsafe the ability to complete on-site, certifiable inspections and repairs with little downtime to our customer’s production.
- Calibrated system allows for accurate load measurements.
- Overhead bridge cranes, lifting beams and hoists can all be load tested using suspended weights.
