INSPECTION SERVICES

Lifting Equipment Inspections
  • In compliance with Ministry of Labour Requirements [OHSA, O.Reg. 851, Section 51(1)]
  • Yearly inspections
  • Hoists & trolleys
  • Overhead Bridge Cranes and below-the-hook devices (Spreader beams, C-Hooks, Pallet Lifters, etc)
  • Rigging equipment (slings, eye bolts, etc)
  • Dock Levelers

    • Man-Lift Inspections
  • In compliance with CSA Requirements [CSA Standard B354.4-02, Self-Propelled Boom Supported Elevating Work Platforms]
  • Yearly inspections
  • Engineering Inspections (10 years from new and 5 years there-after)
  • Review of service history based on documentation located on the device
  • Review of inspection and maintenance history based on documentation located on the device.
  • Verify effectiveness of all controls
  • Perform visual inspection of platform
  • Visual and magnetic particle inspections were completed on accessible critical welds and components

    • Mobile Crane Inspections
  • In compliance with CSA Requirements [CSA Standard Z150, Safety Code on Mobile Cranes]
  • Yearly inspections with Engineer Present (as per CSA guidelines)
  • Review of service history based on documentation located on the device
  • Review of inspection and maintenance history based on documentation located on the device.
  • Inspection includes examination of the following components:
